First built for Michael Landau and named after his band Burning Water, this model has become one of the most iconic Tyler guitars in the world, and 2018 marks the 25th anniversary of the first Burning Water guitar being built.
To commemorate the occasion, James is releasing a limited edition of 75 Anniversary Burning Water Guitars. It features a special logo on the front of the headstock and a commemorative logo on the back (James' signature engraved on the bare arm contour).

Body, neck, and fingerboard
The body material is carefully selected swamp ash. The body is made of carefully selected swamp ash, which produces a fat, glossy, and clear sound that is unique to Tyler. The neck is made of quarter-sawn maple. Perferro is used for the fingerboard.

Standard '59" neck shape is used. The satin finish is smooth and silky, and the thick grip makes it a perfect match for any playing style.

Hardware part
The bridge is a Gotoh "G2TS" with a pressed saddle with Tyler's engraving on the base plate, which is trusted by many high-end brands. 2-point support ensures smooth operation and the pressed saddle provides a sense of overtones.

The pegs are Hipshot locking type for stable tuning and quick string changes.

Pickups
The pickups are "Stingray 500," "Stingray 500," and "Angry Retro" starting from the neck position.

The "Stingray 500" has a wide range and strong mids, balanced highs and ringing. It has excellent overtones, and while it is an assertive pickup, it follows picking very delicately. The output is higher than the other models, but when the volume is turned down, it produces a clean sound with plenty of room to spare. It has a very thick sound with strong picking, and a generous high with light picking.

The "Angry Retro" pickup has a perfect balance of modern playing style and vintage flavor. It is especially recommended for guitarists who value expressiveness with clean to light distortion.

Condition
There are some scratches and minor scuffs and scratches from playing, but it is in relatively clean condition.
The PU selector knob has been replaced.

The neck, frets, truss rod, and all other playing-related conditions are in good condition.
The instrument has been fully adjusted and cleaned at our repair center when it arrived, so you can use it with no worries.
