Custom 22
The Custom 22 is one of the most popular PRS models with a richer and more musical sound than the Custom 24 due to the two less frets than the Custom 24, which makes the built-in PU position and other differences. This is one of the classic PRS models.

Body, neck, and fingerboard
The body is a royal combination of flame maple top, mahogany back, and mahogany neck. The fingerboard is made of Indian rosewood.

Neck Shape
Wide Fat" neck shape is adopted. Neck shape has moderate thickness and good grip without feeling hard to play.

Pickups
The HFS pickups are "HFS, Vintage Bass", which means Hot, Fat, and Screams, and are an evolution of the original Standard Treble pickups. The HFS is a powerful pickup that balances attack, clear highs, strong mids, and powerful lows. The Vintage Bass has a warm high-mid sound that is ideal for rock and jazz.

Selector etc.
A 5-way blade switch is included to produce a very sparkling half-tone that combines the typical humbucker sound with a coil-split sound.
