The LJ16 has a crisp and responsive sound, also known as "donshari".
The body shape is also said to be easy to play with a good fit when sitting down to play.

It has not been treated with "A.R.E. treatment", which is the specification of the current product, but it sounds well with "real aging", so to speak.
