With all this in mind, this particular instrument is one we confidently recommend—both as a lifelong treasured instrument and as the ultimate companion—because it is truly “ready to be played” and “ready to be used.”

Considering its year of manufacture and age, it remains in excellent condition.
Furthermore, we feel the natural shrinkage of the finish adds to its character.

We have performed the following repairs and adjustments:
Neck angle adjustment, fingerboard leveling + fret replacement (Jescar original-shape frets)
Saddle replacement, nut replacement (both made of cow bone)
Bridge string slot adjustment (filling chips, leveling)
Back brace detachment > re-gluing and sanding
Pickguard replacement (custom-made black PVC, 0.5 mm thick; fabricated and glued)
* Since black pickguards were adopted as standard specifications starting in 1969, the design was adjusted to match that aesthetic.
