The 'McCarty 594', currently generating huge buzz as the guitar used by John Mayer, hailed as one of the three greatest guitarists of the modern era. True to its name, the McCarty 594 is a new model introduced by Paul Reed Smith in 2016, featuring a unique 24.594-inch scale length. Its most distinctive feature is undoubtedly this scale length.The model name "594" originates from this, featuring a unique 24.594" (approx. 624.69mm) scale length. It's shorter than the 25-inch scale found on many PRS models, yet slightly longer than the 24.5-inch medium scale used on models like the SC245, delivering a distinctive tension and sound.

The body back uses slightly thicker mahogany than the Custom models, while the neck is also mahogany. The neck profile adopts the new 'Pattern Vintage'.Based on the Pattern neck profile, it maintains the same width but incorporates a slightly thicker profile, with the treble side slightly tapered and the bass side slightly thicker, resulting in an "asymmetric curve" shape. This provides an excellent grip and enables stable fingering. The fingerboard features the signature PRS bird inlays, and the neck binding adds an accent to the overall look, creating a very luxurious finish.

The pickups are the 58/15LT."LT" stands for Low Turns, aiming to produce a clear and warm tone by reducing coil turns. The pickups respond well to picking nuances, allowing for enjoyable sound shaping at your fingertips – a key reason PRS is chosen. Controls include two volume knobs, two tone knobs, and a 3-way toggle switch. Pulling the tone knobs also enables coil tapping for each pickup, making this a highly versatile instrument.

Condition
It's in beautiful condition with minimal signs of use. The neck, frets, truss rod, and all other playability-related aspects are in perfect working order.
Additionally, upon arrival, our repair center performed a full adjustment and fret leveling, ensuring it's ready for confident use.
