This is a Selmer Mark 7 alto saxophone. It was manufactured around 1978. The M7, which has been gaining popularity among players in recent years, is easier to project than the M6 and offers a deep, rich sound not found in current models. This particular instrument has a moderately dark tone and should pair well with a metal mouthpiece.I believe it will be easy to play for musicians across a wide range of genres. While there are scattered dents (with repair marks), scratches, and rust, these do not affect its playability. This is an instrument that will be a valuable addition to your collection.
