ヤナギサワのS-800エリモナです。
S6のキィレイアウトでマークVI風のルックスが風格を出していると思います。
管体は厚めなのでS6とは異なったベクトルをもっており、重量も重めです。
太く柔らかい音色が印象的で、音程は現行モデルに比べプレイヤーに委ねる部分が大きいですが、ヴィンテージソプラノを使用している方なら許容範囲内だと思います。
この時代ならではの音色が持つ魅力は惹きつけるものがあります。
管体サムフック下の凹み修正痕がございます。
その他、傷やラッカー剥がれ、変色、錆などかなりの使用感が見受けられる実用的なコンディションの楽器ですが、傷みの見られたタンポ1ヶ所を新品交換し、きっちり調整を行なっておりますのですぐに演奏をお楽しみいただけます。

This is the Yanagisawa S-800 Erimona.
I think the S6 key layout combined with its Mark VI-style appearance gives it a sense of elegance.
The body is on the thicker side, giving it a different character than the S6, and it’s also somewhat heavier.
Its rich, mellow tone is impressive, and while intonation relies more on the player’s skill compared to current models, I think this is well within acceptable limits for those accustomed to playing vintage soprano saxophones.
The unique charm of the tone from this era is truly captivating.
There is a repair mark on the indentation below the thumb hook on the body.
Otherwise, the instrument is in a practical condition showing significant signs of use, such as scratches, lacquer peeling, discoloration, and rust; however, one worn pad has been replaced with a new one, and the instrument has been thoroughly adjusted, so you can enjoy playing it right away.
