The GT-1000 Guitar Effects Processor is a next-generation floor-type amp and effects unit that pushes sound quality and expressiveness to the absolute limit, combining cutting-edge DSP technology with BOSS’s knowledge and experience cultivated over many years of effects and amp development—all packed into a slim chassis.Equipped with a newly developed, ultra-high-speed custom DSP chip designed specifically for musical applications, it delivers industry-leading, ultra-high sound quality with a 96 kHz sampling rate, 32-bit AD/DA conversion, and 32-bit floating-point internal processing.Furthermore, based on the Tube Logic design concept—which has been adopted in numerous amp products and received high acclaim—we have developed an innovative technology called AIRD (Augmented Impulse Response Dynamics).This technology reproduces the complex behavior created by the interaction of the entire amplifier—something previously thought impossible with digital processors—in any setup, from a single guitar amp to a full-range sound system, delivering consistently realistic and musical response and sound. We have installed this next-generation amplifier at the heart of the GT-1000.In addition to the MDP technology used in the X Series of compact pedals, the GT-1000 features a wide range of the latest effects designed using advanced algorithms also found in the DD-500 Digital Delay, MD-500 Modulation, and RV-500 Reverb.Combined with advanced routing and assignment/control functions, wireless editing via Bluetooth® using the BOSS TONE STUDIO app, and a wealth of input and output jacks, it delivers the ultimate in expressiveness. The evolution of the GT-1000 never stops; we continue to release software updates that reflect players’ needs, such as the addition of amplifiers and effects designed specifically for bass, and feature enhancements that make tone creation and performance more comfortable.
