USED Sterling / SUB RAY4 Black [03]

We’ve received a used Sterling by Music Man “SUB RAY4 Black.”

This is the SUB series “RAY4,” manufactured between 2012 and 2017. It’s a 4-string active bass that offers excellent value for money, inheriting the DNA of Music Man’s iconic “StingRay” model. Its appeal lies in the thick, punchy bass and commanding sound produced by its humbucking pickups and active preamp. It’s an easy-to-play model that excels across a wide range of genres, including rock, pop, and funk.

The color is the classic Black. This popular finish features a sleek, bold look that exudes the distinctive presence characteristic of Music Man.

There are signs of normal wear and tear. There are small dents and paint chips near the strap pins, as well as a small dent near the lower cutaway on the back of the body. While there are other minor signs of use, they do not affect playability or functionality, and the neck and electronics are in good condition.

This is a bass that embodies the unique charm of the early SUB series. It’s a highly recommended bass that lets you enjoy Music Man’s signature powerful sound at an affordable price.
