A 2003 G6120DSW Chet Atkins has arrived!
Based on the very earliest Chet Atkins models from the mid-1950s, this distinctive model features a Western Orange finish and incorporates elements of the 1956 Bigsby tremolo arm configuration.

The guitar features a laminated maple body, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard. It has a brass nut and a zero fret, as well as Western Wing Block inlays carved with cacti and bull’s heads; the headstock is adorned with a bull’s head inlay.

It is equipped with DeArmond DynaSonic pickups.
Its appealing sound is punchy, blending a fat tone with solid low-end—more pronounced than typical single-coil pickups—with a bright high-end.

Overall, there are signs of wear, including scratches, dents, buckle marks, and tarnished hardware. There are cracks in the finish on both sides of the 14th fret on the neck, as well as a crack and slight peeling of the finish on the back of the neck near the 1st fret.
Additionally, there is a chip in the binding at the tip of the headstock, paint chipping on the top of the headstock, and a hole at the body end that appears to be where the strap pin hole was repositioned.

The strap pin has been replaced, but the original one is included. * Since the hole position has been adjusted, it is unclear whether it can be reused.
The case has some minor exterior damage, but this does not affect its functionality.

The neck is in good condition, and the frets still have sufficient height.
