USED FREEDOM CUSTOM GUITAR RESEARCH / Dulake 4-string Seiryu [03]

We’ve just received a used original model from Freedom, the leading Japanese high-end guitar brand!

Freedom Custom Guitar Research is based in Tokyo’s Shitamachi district.
Many of the artisans involved in each stage of production have spent years in the instrument-making industry, so it’s no exaggeration to call them Japan’s finest group of craftsmen.

The model we’ve just received is the “Dulake,” an original model developed for bassists who continually challenge themselves with a variety of musical styles.
Featuring a curved body, its stylish shape offers exceptional playability, while the quilted maple used for the top exudes an overwhelming presence.

It is equipped with Freedom’s original pickups and preamp, delivering a tight and articulate bass tone.
Even when down-tuned, intonation remains intact, delivering clear bass tones.

The neck is currently in good condition, but there is little remaining adjustment range for loosening the truss rod.
There are some signs of wear, and the body has dents and scuffs.
