A used “The 2026 Gibson Custom Limited Edition Collection Murphy Lab 1957 Les Paul Reissue”—one of only 100 made worldwide—has arrived!
This model features the iconic style of the 1957 Les Paul, enhanced with Murphy Lab’s “Ultra Heavy Aging” treatment, and has earned tremendous acclaim for its authenticity and exceptional craftsmanship.

The body top is made of 2-piece plain maple, the body back of 1-piece lightweight mahogany, and the neck features a mahogany neck with an Indian rosewood fingerboard. Animal glue is used to bond the body top, neck joint, and fingerboard, reproducing the “rich natural resonance” and “overwhelming sustain” characteristic of vintage instruments.

The neck features a special “1950s Chunky D” profile. Compared to the standard “50s Rounded Medium C,” this slightly thicker, sturdier, and more rounded D-shape—more characteristic of the early to mid-1950s—is designed to produce rich, full-bodied bass tones and thick, long sustain.

The “Historic Gibson Narrow/Tall” fret profile—narrow in width and tall in height—enables exceptionally smooth fingering and precise intonation, while delivering a vintage tone that makes the most of the wood’s natural resonance.

The guitar is equipped with “Custombucker Alnico 3 (Unpotted / Underwound)” pickups, a special specification with slightly fewer coil windings than standard Custombuckers.
The “clear, open high end” and “overwhelming separation and response to picking” characteristic of original PAFs are further emphasized; even when distorted, the sound doesn’t get muddled, and the sweet, mellow vintage tone is truly captivating.

Due to its “Ultra Heavy Aged” finish, the details of any subsequent scratches are unclear; however, since it was manufactured in 2026, it shows almost no signs of use and is in excellent condition.
It comes with all original accessories, the neck is in excellent condition, and there is no visible wear on the frets.
