This model is a limited-edition reissue of the rare “1997” model, which was exported to the British distributor “Rose Morris” in the 1960s.

It features a maple semi-hollow body with an F-hole and three Toaster pickups that produce the Rickenbacker’s signature dazzling and distinctive sound.

Known for being played by Pete Townshend, guitarist for the legendary British rock band The Who, this is a collectible instrument that strongly evokes the spirit of British rock!

There are general signs of wear and tear from use, as well as slight discoloration on the metal parts.
There are some stand marks and dents at the body end, some wear to the finish on the back of the body, and some paint chipping at the neck joint; however, considering its age, it remains in good condition.
It’s also in excellent playing condition!

After this item arrived at our store, we replaced the strings with new ones and had our repair department clean, maintain, and set up all parts.
