USED Fender / 1974 Jazz Bass Sunburst [03]

We've just received a used 1974 Jazz Bass!!

This was the year when manufacturers began mixing ash and alder for the body, but based on the grain pattern, we’ve identified this one as alder. It features an alder body and a one-piece maple neck.
With white binding and position marks, plus a finger rest mounted on the 4th-string side, this is a guitar that truly embodies the spirit of ’74.

When it arrived, the pickups and control components had been replaced, but since the original pickups and other parts were in storage, we’ve reinstalled them.
As a result, while some rewiring was necessary, the guitar is now equipped with its original pickups, pots, and capacitors.
A shim has been inserted to ensure proper action on the 1st string.
The nut and frets have been replaced, and the fingerboard has been refinished accordingly. There is a dent on the headstock side of the Skunk Line.

Although it has been restored, this is an instrument that has been well-loved and played.
Although the action can be adjusted to standard height without the shim, it was added to ensure sufficient drop for the first string, making it easier for you to play in the future.
This is a guitar we’d like someone who plays it hard to give a try.
