For customers residing in Japan
We have received a used 1990 Pre-Historic Les Paul Reissue.
This guitar is a reissue model from the so-called “Pre-Historic” era—produced from the early 1980s through around 1992, prior to the establishment of the “Gibson Custom Shop.”
It is a vintage-style Les Paul that remains highly popular even today, and this particular guitar retains the distinctive charm of that era.

It features the classic wood combination of a maple top, mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.
In addition to its moderately slim neck shape, this guitar makes a strong impression with its subdued burst finish and three-dimensional flamed maple top.
The undulating grain, which reveals different expressions depending on the angle, is also a charming feature.

The pickups have been replaced with 490R and 498T models; the original pickups are not included.
The electronic components in the control section have been retained in their original condition.
The bridge has been replaced, including the anchors, but the original bridge is included.
The rear volume knob has been replaced.
Additionally, all knobs show slight looseness.
When the strings are loosened, there is a slight amount of play in the tuning pegs.

The original hard case is included, but some of the metal hardware is damaged, and the top lid may come off when opening or closing the case.
Additionally, since the locking mechanism hardware has been removed, the lock function cannot be used.
However, the case can still be used for storage and transport.

The exterior shows general signs of wear, including scratches, dents, buckle marks, and playing marks.
The body has scratches, dents, and some wear to the finish, and the hardware shows signs of age, such as tarnish and rust.

Although it shows signs of use, this instrument firmly retains the unique character and atmosphere of a Pre Historic model.
The combination of high-quality flame maple and a subdued burst finish is captivating, and you can use it without hesitation as a player’s instrument.
Please consider adding this to your collection!
