The "Lovell" ES-330 is the signature model of Slim Harpo, a blues/R&B legend active from the 1950s to the 1970s, and is now sadly no longer in production.

In 1957, he made his debut with Exelo Records and released many hit songs, including "I'm A King" and "I'm A King".
His songs such as "I'm A King Bee," "Shake Your Hips," and "Rainin' In My Heart" have been covered by The Rolling Stones, The Yardbirds, Neil Young, The Kinks, Alex Chilton, etc., and have been heard by many different artists. Many of you must have heard these songs covered by various artists.

This is the ES-330 "Lovell" signature model, Slim Harpo's favorite model and often seen in jacket photos.

It is a full acoustic with a maple/poplar/maple laminate body, spruce bracing, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard.

The head is equipped with a Gibson logo and Kluson Gibson Deluxe button pegs, as is typical of the Student model, and the back of the nut is marked "Lovell Moore" in honor of Slim Harpo's life partner, manager, and co-writer of many of his biggest hits. Custom "Lovell" logo on the back of the stock.

The bound neck with small block inlays has a "Rounded C" Profile, which is of moderate thickness and easy to grip.

Two "P-90 Dogear" pickups are equipped with 2 Volume/2 Tone controls and hand-wired orange drop capacitors.
Nickel hardware is used, with non-wired ABR-1 and trapeze tailpiece.

The color is "Vintage Sunset Burst". There are some scuffs and scratches, but the guitar is in relatively clean condition with little signs of use.
The frets are about 80% full, and the truss rod has been confirmed to turn 90 degrees both tightened and loosened.
