The Vintage Series was released in 1982 as Fender's first reissue series. In 1998, the lineup was expanded and the series name was changed to "American Vintage".

This 2013 '62 Jazz Bass is the result of a complete overhaul of the production process in 2012, and was re-launched as the "New American Vintage" model.
Alder body, maple neck, and rounded rosewood fingerboard.
The head features a near-logo decal and American Vintage Reverse Open-Gear tuners.

The vintage size fretted neck has cradle inlays and a C-shape neck profile. The neck date is stamped "MAR 12 2013" and the body date "MAR 12 2013," indicating that both the neck and body were produced at the same time.

The controls are original, with "American Vintage '64 Single-Coil Jazz Bass" pickups, vintage-style CTS pots, ceramic capacitors, and Switchcraft jacks.

It appears to have been rarely used and is in relatively clean condition, but has slight scratches, scuffs, and paint chips/weather checks.
The truss rod is confirmed to turn 60 degrees both tightened and loosened, and about 80% of the frets are still in place.
Original hard case, strap/shield/tag, booklet, and pickup covers are included.

1982年にFender初のリイシュー・シリーズとして発売されたビンテージ・シリーズ。当初は'57 Stratocaster、'62 Stratocaster、'52 Telecasterの3機種のみでした。1998年にはラインナップが増えシリーズ名が「アメリカン・ヴィンテージ」へと変更されます。

本機は2012年に生産工程すべてを見直し、「New American Vinatage」として再登場した後の2013年製 '62 Jazz Bass。
アルダー・ボディにメイプル・ネック、ラウンド貼りのローズウッド指板のウッドマテリアル。
ヘッドには近ロゴのデカールや、American Vintage Reverse Open-Gearチューナーを搭載。

ビンテージサイズのフレットを使用したネックにはクレイドットインレイや、Cシェイプネックプロファイルが採用されており、ネックデイトは「MAR 12 2013」、ボディデイトは「MAR 12 2013」のスタンプがありネック／ボディ共に同時期の生産であることが分かります。

コントロールはオリジナルでピックアップには「American Vintage ’64 Single-Coil Jazz Bass」を搭載し、CTS製ビンテージスタイルのポットや、セラミックコンデンサー、Switchcraft製のジャックを使用。

殆ど使用されていなかったようで、比較的綺麗な状態を保っておりますが、僅かな傷やスレ、塗装のチップ/ウェザーチェックがございます。
トラスロッドは締め/緩め共に60度回ることを確認しており、フレットも8割ほど残っております。
オリジナルハードケース、付属ストラップ/シールド/タグ、冊子類、ピックアップカバー付属致します。
