Gibson Custom Shop EDS-1275 Doubleneck Cherry Red-2021- is now in stock used!

The Gibson EDS-1275 is a double-neck model that has graced the pages of some of rock's greatest hits. The Gibson EDS-1275 boasts an iconic design that has captivated the sensibilities of guitar fans and guitar players across all generations.

Production of the "Double 12," as it is commonly known, began in 1957 as a custom-order model.
Initially, it was a hollow body, but in late 1962, the specifications were changed to the familiar SG shape.

The EDS-1275 is famous for having been used by Jimmy Page, Don Felder, Pete Townsend, Earl Hooker, and other famous players, but because it was originally a custom-ordered model, there are some differences in specifications, and the EDS-1275 is characterized by its lack of fixed specifications.

This Nashville Custom Shop-made model features a one-piece mahogany body, solid mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
The bound neck, jointed at the 15th fret, has the split-parallelogram inlays used on the ES-175, ES-345, and Southern Junbo, and the "Slim C-Shape" neck profile is easy to grip, as is typical of SGs.

Hardware features nickel parts, Kluson Single Line/Double Ring tuners, non-wired ABR-1 bridge, and Nickel 6/12 1275 tailpiece. Other features include a truss rod cover with "CUSTOM" engraving, often used on custom models, and a black hat knob with metal top.

The pickups are unpotted custom buckers, which have been on the market since 2019 on the R9 and use Switchcraft selectors, jacks, and CTS pots.JP regards, the pickup cover on the 6th string side has been removed.

There are no major scratches and the guitar is in relatively clean condition, but there are a few minor scuffs and scratches from use.

Serial Number: CS100432

Gibson Custom Shop EDS-1275 Doubleneck Cherry Red-2021-
