All Gold Japan Limited Run R4 with Lower Logo is now in stock!

This is an off-catalog order model!
All gold finish, representing 1954!

Normally this model is only available in Murphy Lab's Heavy Aged finish, with a faded cherry finish on the back.

1954 Les Paul Standard with maple top and mahogany back.
Mahogany neck finished in "Authentic '59 Medium C-Shape" for easy playing.
The frets are "Historic Medium-Jumbo".

The "Lower Logo" with a lowered Gibson logo is used to faithfully reproduce the vintage look.

Two Custom Soapbar P-90 pickups are mounted.
The sound is versatile, ranging from a crisp single-pickup sound to a full, sweet tone.

The bridge is a wrap-around bridge, which is a feature of the '54 model, and both the sustain and tone are very pleasing.

The paint has been played by the first owner, and there are some weather checks and overall paint gloss, but the elbow on the top of the body and the side of the toggle switch on the back of the body have some gold greenish-blue coloring from wear.
The frets are approximately 80% full, and there is plenty of room on both sides of the truss rod.

1954年を代表する、オールゴールドのフィニッシュ!!

通常こちらのモデルは、Murphy LabのHeavy Aged仕上げのみとなっており、バックのカラーはフェイデッド・チェリーフィニッシュとなります。

メイプルトップ、マホガニーバックの1954 レスポール・スタンダード。
弾きやすいシェイプ「Authentic '59 Medium C-Shape」に仕上がったマホガニー・ネック。
フレットは「Historic Medium-Jumbo」を採用しております。

Gibsonロゴが下がっている”Lower Logo”を採用しており、ヴィンテージを忠実に再現しております。

ピックアップは、Custom Soapbar P-90を2基搭載。
シングルピックアップらしい歯切れのあるサウンドから、ふくよかで甘いトーンまでこなす万能なサウンドでございます。

ブリッジは、54年仕様の特徴でもある、ラップアラウンド・ブリッジで、サスティン、トーン共に気持ち良く鳴ってくれます。

ファーストオーナーによりしっかり弾き込まれてきたようで、所々塗装のウェザーチェックや全体的な塗装の艶などはありますが、体の当たるボディトップのエルボー部やボディバックのトグルスイッチ脇など塗装の摩耗からゴールドの緑青が現れてきております。
フレットはおよそ8割ほど残っており、トラスロドも左右ともに十分余裕がございます。
