We have received a 2016 Standard Historic 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue featuring a beautiful quilted maple top.

Combining beautiful quilted maple with a "Bourbon Burst" finish, this guitar boasts a truly stunning appearance.
Since quilted maple is not typically used on the R8 model, this is likely a model that was imported as a special selection by a Japanese dealer at the time.

Additionally, it features specifications found in the current Historic Collection—such as a tubeless truss rod, hide glue construction, and long studs—similar to the 2014 Historic Collection models that were discontinued when they were replaced by the True Historic series.

It is equipped with "Custombucker" pickups.
Another highlight of this particular guitar is its lightweight design, weighing just 3.75 kg.

There are some signs of use, such as scratches and buckle marks, but there is no noticeable damage.
The neck is in good condition, and there is plenty of truss rod adjustment left.
The frets were leveled upon arrival and retain sufficient height, ensuring excellent playability.

It comes with the original brown case, certificate of authenticity, pickguard, and tags.
