Story of the "AZ-N
The Ibanez AZ was developed for guitarists with rock/metal/fusion backgrounds in pursuit of a guitar that can be used in all kinds of performance situations.
In 2021, the AZ-N will be added to the AZ family, expanding on the potential of the AZ and targeting guitarists with a Blues/Jazz/Funk background, as typified by Neo Soul, which is flourishing these days.
At first glance, the AZ-N looks similar to the existing AZ, but the pickups and hardware have been carefully examined and developed based on the concept of "a clean tone that can be used in a wide range of applications," and even the fretboard, which directly affects playing comfort, is more than just a sibling of the existing AZ. The AZ-N is more than just a sibling.
Once you pick up the AZ-N and pluck the strings, you will surely notice the subtle but significant difference in tone and feel!
Compound radius fingerboard made of rosewood (228mmR at the nut to 305mmR at the end of the fingerboard)

Story of the “AZ-N”
Ibanez AZは、Rock/Metal/Fusionをバックグラウンドとしたギタリストに向けて、あらゆる演奏シーンへの対応力を追求し開発されたギターです。
AZの持つポテンシャルをさらに拡張し、昨今隆盛を見せる Neo Soul に代表されるような Blues/Jazz/Funk を土台とするギタリストに向けたAZ-Nが、2021 年、新たにAZファミリーへと加わります。
一見すると既存のAZと同様の外観ながら、”幅広く使えるクリーントーン”をコンセプトとして吟味し開発されたピックアップとハードウェア、そして弾き心地に直結するフレットボードに至るまで、単なる兄弟機としての存在以上のこだわりを込めて製作されています。
