伝説のブルースミュージシャン、ジェイムズ・”スリム・ハーポ”・ムーアは、”I’m A King Bee”, “Baby Scratch My Back”, “Shake Your Hips “などのヒット曲で知られています。彼の曲はザ・ローリング・ストーンズ、ザ・キンクス、ヤードバーズなどのアーティストにカバーされています。彼が選んだギターはGibson ES-330でした。
ギブソンUSAは、彼のギターをSlim Harpo “Lovell” ES-330として再現しました。
Slim Harpo “Lovell” ES-330は、メイプル／ポプラ／メイプルの3プライ構造のトップ・バック・サイド、スプルース・ブレーシング、ラウンドCプロファイルのマホガニー・ネック、スモール・ブロック・インレイ付きローズウッド指板トラピーズ・テールピース付きABR-1ブリッジ、ホワイト・ボタン付きヴィンテージ・デラックス・チューナーを備えています。
エレクトロニクス部では、ドッグイヤータイプのP90ピックアップとオレンジ・ドロップ・キャパシターがハンドワイヤリングにより各コントロール部と結線されています。
また、スリム・ハーポの人生のパートナーであり、マネージャーであり、多くの大ヒット曲の共同作曲者であるロベル・ムーアに敬意を表して、ヘッドストックの裏側に「Lovell」のカスタム・ロゴが施されています。

Legendary blues musician James "Slim Harpo" Moore is known for hits like "I'm A King Bee," "Baby Scratch My Back," and "Shake Your Hips." His songs have been covered by artists such as The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, and The Yardbirds. His guitar of choice was a Gibson ES-330.
Gibson USA has reproduced his guitar as the Slim Harpo "Lovell" ES-330.
The Slim Harpo "Lovell" ES-330 has a maple/poplar/maple 3-ply top, back, and sides, spruce bracing, and a round C-profile mahogany neck, It has a rosewood fingerboard with small block inlays, an ABR-1 bridge with a trapeze tailpiece, and vintage Deluxe tuners with white buttons.
In the electronics section, dog-ear P90 pickups and orange drop capacitors are hand-wired to the various controls.
It also features a custom "Lovell" logo on the back of the headstock in honor of Slim Harpo's life partner, manager, and co-writer of many of his biggest hits, Lovell Moore.
This model has some parts wear and some signs of use, but the pliablity is good, including the truss rod. Please take a look at this opportunity.
