USED FENDER / 1965 Jaguar Sunburst [05]

A 1965 Fender Jaguar Sunburst in excellent condition has just arrived!!

The plate serial number is 123761; this instrument was made in 1965. While the serial number suggests a possible 1966 date, we have determined it to be a 1965 model based on an overall assessment.

The neck date is 1OCT65B (October 1965), and the pot date is 304-6545×2 (1965). The volume and tone pots on the preset sound switch side are not visible, but we believe they are original. There was a crack in one spot at the neck end, but it has been glued and is not an issue at all. The neck features binding, pearloid dots, and an Indian rosewood fingerboard.

The pickups feature original black bobbins with gray bobbins mounted on top. Sponge has been added beneath the pickups and has deteriorated, but since the height can still be adjusted to some extent, this is not currently an issue.

Replaced parts include the nut and frets. The pickguard has shrunk slightly and does not fit perfectly in some areas, but it is currently secure. The body and neck have been adjusted using shims.

Its greatest appeal is the crisp, well-defined sound characteristic of a Jaguar. It retains a high degree of originality and is in excellent playing condition, so please consider this opportunity.

It comes with the original black Tolex case and the original tremolo arm.
