USED GIBSON / 1977 Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst [05]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1977 Les Paul Standard.

This is one of the so-called "Norlin Period" guitars after the parent company became Norlin in 1969.
The body is made of 3-piece plain maple top and mahogany back, with 3-piece maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, which is a standard wood material configuration in the late 1970s.

The sunburst coloring on the head/neck, the back of the neck, the sides of the head, and other important parts are also characteristic of this period.
This guitar has "SECOND" stamped above the serial number on the back of the head.

Both front and rear pickups are original engraved numbered PAF.
All pots are original and dated 1977. The capacitors are "Circle D" and the electrical system is original.

There are some scratches, dents, and light wood exposure, but the instrument is still quite clean for an instrument that has been in production for over 40 years.

It has been checked and overall adjusted by a professional repair person after arrival and is in good playing condition.

A chainsaw case (or rocket case) is included.
Also, inside the pocket of the case, a valuable Norlin-era tag remains in a very clean condition, making it an attractive collector's item, including the main body.
