This is a miraculous arrival of a BUZZARD BASS designed by John Entwistle (with a motif of a buzzard) made in 1986.

John Entwistle gave a bass clinic at the "Musical Instruments Fair 1987" held at the Tokyo Science & Technology Museum in 1987, where he signed the back of the body. Although the authenticity of the signature is unknown at this time, the timing of the signature seems to be very plausible.
Apart from the value of the signature itself, considering the rarity of this machine, there is no doubt that it is a very valuable piece.
The body is zebra wood, the fingerboard is wenge, the neck is 7 pieces of zebra wood and wenge, and there was a vertical crack on the first string side of the body, so it has been glued. The BUZZARD and brand "W" logo on the head is finished with Avalon inlay.
The two EMG "P" pickups are of course original from that time, so they are from the caramel back period. The pegs and bridge are both made by Schaller from the W.GERMANY period, and the adjustable brass nut and parts are still in their original condition.
A masterpiece that left a strong impact in the history of bass guitars, BUZZARD BASS may never be seen again!
