USED Fender / 1971 Jazz Bass White Blonde Ref [05]

Players condition 1971 Jazz Bass in stock!

This is a boldly refinished White Blonde.
It has been freshly refinished (lacquered), but not to a shiny gloss finish, but to a semi-glossy finish, so it is expected to look even better with use in the future.

The body material seems to be Ash, and considering the combination with the tortoiseshell pickguard, it is possible that the original color was blonde, which was rare at that time.
The key point is that it is very lightweight, weighing 3.84kg.

The DATE of the front pickup is 2440 and the rear is 8331, indicating 70-71.
The plate serial is also 330637, which is in the 71 range.
POT DATE is 504-7116 x3. Capacitors are also made by ITW and are believed to be original.
The lead wire of the rear pickup is shortened, and there are some marks of re-soldering on the pickup and jack, so it seems that some kind of repair has been done in the past.
There is no DATE on the neck side, but there is no particular discomfort around the neck pocket.
The saddle of the 2nd string has been replaced. Pickup mounting screws have been replaced.

The truss rod has been adjusted without any problems, and the frets are low but still usable.

Sound is good.
The mids are solid, and while it has a tight feel, it does not have a narrow range, making it a very easy to use instrument.
It is good to use it as much as you like and make it your own unique look.
