USED Fender USA / 1980s Vintage Series Broadcaster Made in Fullerton [05]

Fender BROADCASTER, believed to have been manufactured in the 1980s, is now in stock!

Fender's BROADCASTER was the world's first solid electric guitar.
The name "Broad Caster" existed on GRETSCH products, so this name was only used for a short period of time.
After the "No Catser" model with some of the decals removed, it became the current "Telecaster" model name, and has been loved for a long time until today.

The one we have just received is believed to have been produced in the early 80's. The factory is Fullerton. The factory is Fullerton.
The neck stamp has a large "VINTAGE" and a red stamp that seems to spell "Beath" on it.

Both the neck and body are stamped with Fender production stamps, and the paint on the neck side confirms that both the body and neck are the original pair.

The front and rear pickups are believed to be original, but the front is not dated.
The rear has a ground wire added from the coil section, and the extended wire has been soldered to the plate, so the date cannot be confirmed.
Both bobbins are confirmed to be black.

The selector switch is original, while the pot and capacitor have been changed.
The nut and frets have been changed from the original, and from the overall changes, it appears that the guitar has been repaired as necessary for long use, and is in good playing condition.
The neck may have been over-lacquered, but it is difficult to say that it has been over-lacquered because the overall condition is familiar.

It is uncertain if a BROADCASTER reissue model existed in the 80's, and there is a possibility that the decal has been replaced, but the serial number is 0038, which is quite young, and there is no possibility that it is an error or a rare model that was produced only in very small numbers.

Since the body and neck are made by Fender, we spent a lot of time with several staff members to verify the model name and decided to use BROADCASTER as the model name.
We have not had enough evidence to make a determination, so please consider this to be a "Fender guitar believed to be a BROADCASTER".
