Late 60s J-45 Adjustable Natural is now in stock.

The Gibson J-45 from the 1960s was equipped with an innovative saddle and bridge construction, the Adjustable Saddle, which allows the string height to be adjusted on the saddle side.
The crisp, metallic sound produced by the two-point screw-fastening saddle has attracted fans for many years, and the company's current lineup also features the adjustable specification.

This time we have a new shipment of this instrument from the late 60's, when adjustable saddles were introduced.
The serial number of this instrument is scratched, so it is difficult to identify it as late 60's. However, based on the specifications and the serial number, we judge that it was manufactured in the late 60's.

This model is called "Workhorse" because of its hard use and dependability, but it is also true that many of them have been repaired or customized to the player's liking.
The paint on this instrument is quite thin, as if the paint has been polished throughout the entire body. Since it is difficult to believe that this condition was caused by aging, there is a high possibility that aging by polishing was performed on this instrument.

The top center of the body has been repaired with a splitter, the neck has been reset, the binding has been reattached, the bridge and pickguard have been reattached, the bracing has been repaired, the nut and saddle have been replaced, the bridge pins have been replaced, the frets have been rubbed, the pegs have been replaced, and the bridge and saddle cracks on the 6th string side have been repaired (glue adhesive). The bridge and saddle cracks on the 6th string side have been repaired with glue.
There are also traces of pickups that have been installed, a jack hole has been opened at the end of the body, and a strap pin hole has been filled in at the heel of the neck.
There is a possibility that other repairs have been made, but the above is the extent of what can be determined at present.

The neck has been modified, so the condition is relatively good and playability is maintained.

The sound is crisp and clear, indicating that it has been well played. It is recommended for those who want to use it as a gun because of its player's condition.
