USED Gibson / Heritage 1976 [05]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1976 Gibson Heritage.

The "Heritage" was manufactured from 1965 to 1982.
This guitar was one of Gibson's high-end models of the time, a traditional style with square shoulders.

Spruce top, rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, Grover keystone button pegs, square inlays, and black pickguard.

The head has the characteristic Heritage model inlay, and the bridge also has an inlay, and the ornate design suggests that it was a kind of high-end model at that time.

This "Heritage" was born in the 60's and had an adjustable saddle, which was frequently used by Gibson at that time, but this time we have one with a straight saddle, which is the specification used since 1970.

The double-X bracing specification, which has been used since 1975, gives the rosewood body a clear mid-range sound.

This guitar was made in 1976 and is in very good condition, but there are some parts that are appropriate for its age.
The nut has been replaced, the frets have been changed, a patch has been repaired at the center of the body under the bridge, and a crack has been repaired near the fingerboard on the first string side of the soundhole.
The pickguard also has some wood splits at the edge of the pickguard due to shrinkage, but this has also been corrected.

The "Gibson Heritage" is one of the rarest models you will ever come across.
The long scale produces a bouncy sound, and the double X bracing gives it a tight midrange.
