Guild" is one of the most popular American acoustic guitars in the world.
With its orthodox design and firm sound, Guild is a trusted brand among players.

This time, we have just received a "F212XL" manufactured in the late 60's. The "XL" is the name of a guitar with a "XL" sound, and it is a very popular guitar in the world.
As you can see from the model name "XL," it has a jumbo size 17" body and 25.5" (650mm) scale, which produces a powerful sound.

Spruce body top, mahogany back and sides, 3-piece mahogany/maple neck (with 2 truss rods), ebony fingerboard, rosewood bridge, long saddle, nut width of about 47.5mm, celluloid wood plate on the head plate, tortoiseshell pickguard Condition.

The overall condition is commensurate with its age, and the dents and abrasions on the body suggest that it has been well played.

The head plate veneer and truss rod cover have shrunk over time and are distorted and peeling in places, but the condition is commensurate with its age and will be delivered as is.

To maintain the playing condition, the nut has been replaced, the saddle has been replaced (including height adjustment), the frets have been replaced, and the binding has been glued and corrected, so you can fully enjoy playing the guitar.

In addition, the pickguard has been re-glued, the bridge pins have been replaced (wooden), and the body top crack has been corrected.

The body top crack has been fixed by applying wood to the center of the body end (book match buttstock) from the bottom of the bridge, the sound hole to the fingerboard (6th and 1st string side), and the 1st side pickguard to the binding area.

The neck is in very good condition, flat with no warping or twisting.

This vintage Guild is in perfect playing condition.

The wild, expansive sound is very easy to use, and the mellow acoustic sound will stimulate your musical appetite.

12弦仕様、ジャンボボディの"Guild F212XL"が入荷しました。

アメリカンアコースティックギターの代表格として世界的にも人気の"Guild"。
オーソドックスなデザインとコシのあるサウンドで、プレイヤー達からの信頼も厚いブランドです。

今回入荷したのは、60年代後半製造の"F212XL"。
"XL"のモデル名からも分かる通り、ジャンボサイズの17インチボディを持ち、25.5インチ(650mm)スケールで迫力のサウンド奏でます。

ボディトップはスプルース、マホガニーバック＆サイド、3ピースのマホガニー/メイプルネック(2本トラスロッド仕様)、エボニー指板、ローズウッドブリッジ、ロングサドル、ナット幅約47.5mm、ヘッドプレートにはセルロイド材のプレートが設置、べっ甲ピックガードの仕様。

全体的に年代相応のコンディションで、ボディの打痕や擦り傷がこれまでしっかりと弾き込まれてきたことを伺わせます。

ヘッド部ヘッドプレートの突板とトラスロッドカバーは、経年変化によって収縮しており、ところどころ歪みやはがれが起こっておりますが、年代相応のコンディションでございますので現状にてお渡しとなります。

プレイコンディションを保つための、ナット交換、サドル交換(高さ調整含む)、フレット交換、バインディング接着修正が行われており、演奏を十二分にお楽しみいただけます。

また、ピックガードの再接着、ブリッジピン交換(木製)、ボディトップ割れ修正が行われております。

ボディトップ割れ修正は、ブリッジ下部～ボディエンドのセンター部分(ブックマッチ突き合わせ部)に当て木修正、サウンドホール～指板部(6＆1弦側)に当て木修正、1側ピックガード～バインディング付近に当て木修正が行われております。

ネックコンディションは非常に良好で、反りや捻じれが無くフラットな状態です。

コンディションを保つための修正がしっかりと行われ、演奏コンディションもバッチリなヴィンテージGuildの一本。

ワイルドで、広がりのあるのあるサウンドは非常に使いやすく、芳醇なアコースティックサウンドで音楽的な意欲を掻き立ててくれる貴重な一本ですので、是非お見逃しなく。
