1965 Gibson SG Junior is in stock!

The body and neck are made of solid mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood. The head features Junior's signature simple silkscreened logo and a triple Kluson Deluxe on a brass shaft.

The simple and primitive design of the binding-less neck, dot position marks, and one pickup will allow for direct playing without hesitation.

The pickups are original P-90s. Controls are simple 1Vol/1Tone controls, Pot Date is 137-65XX x 2, Serial: 349724, indicating that it was made in 1965. Also, the control cavity is small and has a 4-point stop, so it can be judged to be a transitional spec that includes the '64 spec.

The bridge has been replaced with a replacement. This model was originally equipped with a short vibrato roller, but lacks a tremolo unit. A thin washer (removable) has been installed under the bridge to prevent the bridge from floating when the octave is adjusted.

In addition, there is a nut, fret replacement, strap pin replacement, and PG crack.

There is a hole on the back of the body due to a strap position change. There are some dents and weather checks on the overall appearance of the instrument, but the faded coloring due to the aging process gives the instrument a dignified look. Please take a look at this opportunity.

ネック幅が狭い通称ナロー・ネックとなる過渡期の個体で、ナット幅は40mm。ソリッド・マホガニーを使用したボディ/ネック、指板はローズウッド指板です。ヘッドにはJuniorの特徴でもあるシンプルなシルクスクリーン・ロゴ、ブラスシャフトの3連Kluson Deluxeを搭載。

バインディングのないネックに、ドット・ポジションマークと1ピックアップのシンプルかつプリミティブな仕様は、迷いなくダイレクトなプレイを可能にすることでしょう。

ピックアップにはオリジナルのP-90を搭載しています。コントロールはシンプルな1Vol/1Toneのコントロール。Pot Dateは137-65XX×2、シリアル：349724と1965年製であることがわかります。また、コントロールキャビティが小さく、4点止めであることから64年スペックが含まれた過渡期仕様であると判断できます。

ブリッジは、リプレイスメントに交換されております。本来、ショートバイブローラ搭載のモデルですがトレモロ・ユニット欠品。プリッジ下には薄いワッシャー(取り外し可能)が取り付けられており、オクターブを合わせた際のブリッジ浮きを防いでいます。

その他、ナット、フレット交換、ストラップピン交換、PG割れがございます。

ボディ裏にはストラップ位置変更による穴が空いています。全体的に打痕やウェザーチェックがございますが、経年変化による褪色具合と相まって風格あるルックスの一本でございます。ぜひこの機会にご検討下さいませ。
