1979 Sabre Bass in stock!

This Sabre has a compact body shape that is easier to handle than the Stingray.
This is a Sabre Bass in good condition.
The body is probably poplar.

Sponges and other parts are missing, but the important parts are still in original condition.
The frets and nut have been replaced, and the fretboard surface seems to have been adjusted at the same time, so it is in straight condition without any habits. The playability is excellent.
There are some dents and buckle scratches due to its age, and the paint on the end part is faded, but it has a good atmosphere.

The serial number is C002045 and the date on the neck pocket is JUN 23 1979.

We have determined that it was made in 1979 based on the contents of Switch Date: 7903,7903,7806.
There is no date on the neck end, but there is no indication that it has been replaced, and it is thought to have disappeared during the aforementioned repair.
Pole piece of the pickup is short.

The combination of 2 PUs and switching can be used for a wide range of applications.
Although it is not as popular as the Stingray, it is still a very useful instrument.

スティングレイに比べて取り回しのよいコンパクトなボディシェイプのセイバー。
コンディション良好な一本が入荷です。
ボディーはおそらくポプラと思われます。

スポンジ等は欠品しておりますが、重要な箇所はしっかりとオリジナルコンディションを保っております。
フレット・ナット交換がされており、同時に指板面の調整がされているようで、癖もなくストレートなコンディション。演奏性は抜群です。
年式故に打痕やとバックル傷、エンド部分の塗装のヤレなどございますが、雰囲気良好。

シリアルはC002045でネックポケットのデイトはJUN 23 1979。
Pot Date:137-7918,137-1919,137-7918
Switch Date:7903,7903,7806という内容から79年製と断定しております。
ネックエンドのデイトはございませんが特に交換されたような様子もなく、前述のリペアの際等に消えてしまったものと思われます。
ピックアップのポールピースはショートです。

2PUとスイッチングの組み合わせで幅広く対応可能な一本。
どうしてもスティングレイに人気は劣りますが、いまだからこそ活躍できる一本ではないでしょうか。
