USED Gibson / 1974 Les Paul Deluxe Cherry Sunburst [05]

We have a 1974 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Cherry Sunburst in stock!

Serial: 111679, Pot Date: 1974, Serial: 1970-75, but we have comprehensively determined that it was made in 1974.

The Deluxe was first sold in 1969, a little after the re-release of Les Paul, and has become more popular and rare every year due to its shorter production period compared to Les Paul with full-size humbuckers and the re-evaluation of the attractive tone that only mini humbuckers can provide.

It has a pancake body made of mahogany sandwiched by maple, maple top, and a 3-piece mahogany neck with volute, which is typical of early 70s Gibson guitars.

The PU is original, with two sticker-numbered mini-humbuckers. Compared to full-size humbuckers, the tone is a little brighter and tighter, and it is easy to pick nuance and to get a good sound. The original double-ring escutcheon is one of the key points of this model, and there is a sponge under the PU. The sticker on the front PU is hard to see due to the deterioration of the rubber.

Pot Date is '74 x 2, and other 2 places are hard to see due to solder, but we judge them as original.

The nut and frets have been replaced, but the guitar is in beautiful condition considering its age, and playability is good, including the truss rod.
