A professional artist's surplus item! A 1966 Precision Bass boasting exquisite sound has just arrived!

With a neck date of “5MAY66C,” two pot dates of “137-6611,” and a pickup date of “10-27-66,” this instrument is in impeccable condition. While it has been refretted and the nut replaced, it retains a high degree of originality. Plus, the exquisite flame figure on the back of the neck is a sight rarely seen.
Although the tuning pegs were reportedly replaced at one point, the original ones are currently installed.

The midrange has a pleasant, sticky quality, and the sound is fat yet delivers a powerful, punchy presence. Since it was in active use on stage until very recently, its playability is outstanding.
This is a guitar we highly recommend that all players try out for themselves. Give it a go.
