A beautiful pre-owned “Dealer Select” Murphy Lab 1957 Les Paul Standard Heavy Aged has arrived!

This guitar is a special “Dealer Select” model, planned and commissioned by an overseas dealer. It stands apart from the standard lineup, having been crafted with meticulous attention to wood selection and specifications; only instruments that meet strict standards are permitted to bear this name.

The first thing that strikes you is its overwhelming vintage feel. While the top is made of carefully selected maple, it doesn’t feature a modern look that emphasizes flashy flame patterns; instead, it has a subdued appearance reminiscent of a plain-top finish, similar to late 1950s Burst models. The natural finish highlights the wood’s inherent texture, and its understated yet high-quality presence—free of unnecessary embellishments—truly makes this a guitar for those who seek authenticity.

The aging process by Murphy Lab Heavy Aged is also truly masterful. Everything from the weather checking and dents in the finish to the natural patina of the hardware is reproduced with extreme realism, giving it the dignified presence of a vintage Les Paul that has been cherished and played for many years. The combination with the natural finish is particularly superb, exuding depth and a compelling presence rather than flashiness.
