Extremely Rare!! The KRAMER DMZ3000 has arrived!!

This is one of the Aluminum Neck Series guitars produced by KRAMER from the 1970s through the 1980s.
It features a maple body, a neck made primarily of T-shaped aluminum with maple accents, and an ebony fingerboard.
The overwhelming rigidity and sustain provided by the aluminum neck create a sound you simply can’t find anywhere else.

Based on the date stamped on the tone pot, this guitar is believed to be from 1978. Since production of the three-single-coil models began in 1978, we’ve determined this to be a first-year model.

It is equipped with DiMarzio SDS-1 pickups.
All have cream bobbins, and the front and rear pickups bear “PATENT APPLIED FOR” stickers.
Production of the SDS-1 also began in 1978, and this “Patent Pending” sticker, along with other factors, is one of the reasons we’ve determined this guitar to be a 1978 model.

The volume pot and jack have been replaced. The volume knob has also been replaced; while the original is included, it is cracked on the inside and unusable.
The neck has a very slight forward bow; however, it is not impossible that it was not shaped to be straight during manufacturing but rather produced and shipped with the slight forward bow typically found on instruments sold commercially.

While basses from the DMZ series occasionally appear on the market, guitars from this series are almost never seen, making this a truly rare instrument.
It comes with the original hard case (the handle is missing due to damage).
