USED Gibson Custom Shop / B.B. King ES-355 Lucille Legacy Dark Walnut Heavy Aged [05]

The Gibson Custom Shop / B.B. King ES-355 Lucille Legacy Dark Walnut Heavy Aged is now in stock, pre-owned!!

This limited-edition model, part of Gibson’s “Greatest Hits Collection,” features a bold finish that sets it apart from standard models.

It revives one of the most iconic guitars in blues history—B.B. King’s beloved instrument—with a fresh interpretation.

Based on the famous ES-355 that B.B. King had custom-built, this model recreates its appearance with a few design tweaks. Its most distinctive feature is the three-ply figured body—which lacks F-holes—finished in a dark walnut color that defies the instrument’s traditional image.

The included Custombucker pickups faithfully reproduce the vintage PAF sound. Furthermore, a hand-wired harness featuring CTS audio-taper pots and paper-in-oil Bumblebee capacitors delivers an authentic vintage tone.

The neck features a comfortable SlimTaper profile, which, combined with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard, supports smooth bending, rich vibrato, and nimble staccato playing.

Visually, it’s equipped with eye-catching hardware, such as a gold-colored truss rod cover engraved with “B.B. King” and a nickel TP-6 tailpiece with fine-tuning capabilities. Furthermore, mother-of-pearl split-block inlays and luxurious multi-layer binding around the entire body add a touch of sophistication.

This instrument was manufactured in 2025. Due to its aged finish, it is difficult to assess its level of use; however, as there are absolutely no signs of use, we have classified it as being in like-new condition. Of course, its playability is excellent.

All accessories, including the certificate of authenticity and documentation, are included. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to consider purchasing this instrument.
