A '70s Jazz Bass has arrived!
Made in 1976
Featuring a maple neck with binding, an ash body, and a 3-point mounting with Micro-Tilt—specifications unique to the '70s.
Compared to 60s models, the rear pickup is shifted about 1 cm toward the bridge, resulting in a tighter, more defined sound.
This particular instrument is on the lighter side, making it comfortable to play for extended periods without fatigue.
Overall, there are signs of over-lacquer, dents, playwear, and touch-ups, but considering its age, it’s in relatively good condition.
The electronics have been updated, with the front pickup and tone pot replaced.
The pickup cutout on the pickguard has been enlarged.
Both the nut and frets have been replaced.
The neck shows a slight twist, but this does not currently pose a problem.
The truss rod moves freely in both directions, but even when tightened, the neck does not warp in the opposite direction.
Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use
