USED YAMAHA / AES-1500 OST [06]

We've just received a used YAMAHA AES-1500!
The AES series features a thinner semi-hollow body designed for superior playability.

It features an arched sycamore top with a maple back and sides, a maple and spruce center block, and a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard.
It’s equipped with a Yamaha USA-designed DiMarzio YGDH-4BC pickup and features the familiar dual-sound switch, accessible via the TONE knobs.
According to the catalog from that era, it was intended for rockabilly and rock ’n’ roll, but it sounds great when distorted and has excellent projection, making it suitable for a wide range of genres.
There is paint damage near the logo on the headstock, and the rod cover is aftermarket with additional screw holes.
The body has numerous scratches, dents, and scuffs from the buckle; the pickguard has playing wear; the back of the neck has a dent and the neck heel has scratches; the tailpiece and saddle have peeling plating; the binding has discoloration; and the metal parts show signs of tarnish—all indicating a well-used condition.
