A classic 1960s-70s Slingerland chrome overbrass snare, the Sound King.
Based on the silver-rimmed oval badge and serial 46544, we suspect it was produced in the early 1970s.

The chrome overbrass shell, 8-tension stick saver hoop, and Zumatic strainer are typical Slingerland specs of this period, and you can enjoy a very tight sound typical of Slingerland, while still having a gorgeous and fat brass-like character. It is a very tight sound that is typical of Slingerland.
It is a simple and easy-to-use snare that can be used in a variety of genres.

The sound itself is good, although there is a slight shell dent, a slight distortion of the bottom hoop, and other age-appropriate scratches, dirt, and other signs of age and use.
However, the sound itself is good. You can enjoy a very well-balanced and cohesive sound.
The snappy has been replaced with a Yamaha snappy.
It is in player's condition, but can still be used!

銀縁のオーバルバッジ、シリアル46544より、1970年代初頭に生産されたものではないかと推測されます。

クロームオーバーブラスシェルに8テンションのスティックセイバーフープ、ズーマチックストレイナーと、この時期のスリンガーランドらしいスペックで、華やかでファットなブラスらしいキャラクターながらも、スリンガーランドらしい、非常に引き締まったサウンドがお楽しみ頂けます。
様々なジャンルをこなしてくれそうなシンプルかつ使いやすいスネアです。

若干のシェル凹、ボトムのフープの若干の歪み他、全体的な年式相応の傷、汚れ等の経年使用感は否めませんが、サウンド自体は良好。
非常にバランスよくまとまったサウンドをお楽しみ頂けます。
スナッピーはヤマハ製に交換されています。
プレイヤーズコンディションですがまだまだお使いいただけます！
