USED K.Yairi / JY-45B BS (Veneer Top)(Made in Japan/2008) Yairi Acoustic Guitar [08]

This model is reminiscent of the Gibson J-45!

This is one of the low-priced versions of the Standard Series by K.Yairi, a leading Japanese acoustic guitar maker.
This model is reminiscent of the Gibson J-45 of the 1950s and early 1960s.
The body is made of solid spruce on the top and mahogany on the sides and back.
The top has X bracing (subtly scalloped) and the rosewood bridge has a straight saddle.
The mahogany Neck with 42mm nut width and 635mm scale has a rosewood fingerboard.
The frets are thicker and the nut width is narrow (42mm), but tapered to give a sturdy impression from the 9th fret onward.
The pegs are equipped with Cruson type pegs.

The truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees left and right, and the frets are still high enough.
After arrival, the frets have been adjusted, cleaned, strings replaced, rods adjusted, and string height adjusted.
The body has some minor dents, scratches, and scuffs.
There are more scratches including scratches on the back.
There is a ding on the back of the neck near the 10th fret on the 6th string side and a ding on the fingerboard near the 13th-14th fret on the 6th string side.
There are dents and scuffs on the top of the head.
The guitar is in good condition, but playability is not a problem.

The sound has a serious impression as if it were made in Japan.
Rather than the condensed midrange of the Gibson J-45, the sound is more balanced in each band.
It will cover a wide range of sounds from gutsy and loud to fingerpicking!
