The symmetrical shape of the SWB-GAMBA series is derived from the "viola da gamba".

Reflecting the request of Frans van der Hoeven, the bass man of the Europian Jazz Trio, a world-renowned musician who has toured Europe, South America and Asia, the essence of the double bass has been incorporated into the SWB-GAMBA series. The flagship model of the LANDSCAPE Electric Upright Bass, which combines the essence of the double bass as much as possible into an electric upright bass.

The neck is set in the D position, the same position as the double bass, enabling the same feel and fingering as the double bass. Equipped with LANDSCAPE's original PB-U magnetic pickup and Fishman BP-100 piezo pickup, it produces a wide range of sound variations from fretless bass to full-fledged wood bass sound.

The body is made of solid Sitka spruce top with solid maple sides and back, a 3-ply maple neck for rigidity and resistance to aging, GOTOH thread spool, and a rare ebony fingerboard for quick sound rise and responsiveness.

It shows signs of use (minor scratches and scuffs, scuffs and play marks, picking marks, fogging/bitzing of metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

It has been cleaned and set up upon arrival.
