This is a chrome over brass snare made by Rogers, which was the core of American drums in the 1960s.
Although the Dyna Sonic is well-known from this period, many drummers prefer to use the Power Tone because of its simpler mechanism.
This snare has a bright brass-like sound with an open tone, a solid core and a sense of cohesion, and is very well-balanced and easy to use in all genres.

It is made in Dayton, and is estimated to have been manufactured in 1967 according to the serial number.
The snare is believed to be original, including all parts except for the head.
There are some pits on the parts, but it is in good condition with few scratches and damages for its age.
It is still in good condition and can be used without any problems.
It has a bright and open sound that is typical of brass.

60年代のアメリカンドラムの中核をなしていたロジャース社のクロームオーバーブラススネアです。
この時期ではダイナソニックが有名ですが、こちらのパワートーンの方が機構がシンプルな為、こちらを好んで使用するドラマーも多いモデルです。
ブラスらしい明るいサウンドでオープンな鳴り、シッカリと芯のあるまとまり感もあり、非常にバランスよくオールジャンルに使いやすいイメージのスネアです。

デイトン製、シリアルより1967年製造と推定されます。
ヘッド以外はパーツ類も含めオリジナルと思われる個体です。
若干のパーツのピッツはございますが、年式の割に大きな傷、ダメージ少なく良好な個体。
まだまだ十分問題なくお使いいただけるコンディション。
ブラスらしい明るくオープンなサウンドが特徴です。
