USED Frampton / TF-280 70s [1970s / Made in Japan / Made in Japan] Frampton Pearl Instrument Mfg. [08]

This is a Frampton thinline model TF-280, which was sold in the 1790s by "Pearl Musical Instrument Mfg.

This Frampton thinline model was made by Pearl, now a well-known drum maker. It has a hollow body with pancake construction where a considerable number of plies and pieces can be seen, a maple neck with a skunk stripe despite the pasted maple, a rod cover on the head, pegs with straight posts without nicks, and a 2PU/Vol/Tone/3Way selector specification.

Although the neck and body are quite joined, the tight and lustrous sound of this guitar is pleasant.

It shows signs of use (scratches and scuffs on the outer surface, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, peeling paint around the fretboard, gilt peeling, fogging, bits and rust on metal parts and screws, and other external damage). Since this is a very old instrument, the pegs work hard and there is some buzzing in the control system.

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) upon arrival.
