Murphy Lab Collection, the culmination of years of aging technology, reproduces Heavy Aged Condition.

This is a Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab 1959 Les Paul Heavy Aged. This model has a lacquer process that reproduces natural weather checks just like vintage models, and is finished in the "Heavy Aged" finish, second only to Ultra Heavy Aged in the four available aged levels, with unpotted custom backer pickups, Luxe Bumblebee condensers, and vintage curved pots.

The wood grain and textured colors are eye-catching, and the carefully selected wood materials and stately looks make this one a total of 4.02kg, boasting an unprecedented degree of perfection that could almost be mistaken for vintage.

It shows signs of use (minor scratches, scratches, paint chips, scuffs, playing marks, picking marks, buckle marks, fogging of metal parts and screws, and other exterior damages).

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough for playing.
