IRIS Guitar Companyは、ハイエンド・カスタムギターを手掛けるADAM BUCHWALD(アダム・バックウォルド)と、ヴィンテージ・ギブソンギターの世界的権威であるDALE FAIRBANKS(デイル・フェアバンクス)によって2018年に設立されました。
ヴィンテージにインスパイアされたギターを現代的な手法で製作し、可能な限りコストを抑え、プレイヤーにとってパーフェクトなツールとなるMADE IN USAのハイエンド・アコースティックギターを提供しています。
OGシリーズはVintageのGibson LG-2にインスパイアされたIRISのフラッグシップモデル。
LGよりもテールブロックを深くする事で低音のレスポンスも強化された設計になっています。
スモールボディのTopがシトカ・スプルースで、Side/Backがマホガニー。
TopブレーシングはToneブレースがスキャロップドで、Xブレーシングはほぼノンスキャロップドになっています。
1-11/16”(43mm弱)ナット幅、肉付きのある25"スケールのマホガニーNeck(Bolt-on Neckジョイント、ボリュートあり)には、インディアンローズウッド指板を貼っています。
ナチュラルサテン・ラッカーフィニッシュ(艶なし)、インディアンローズウッド・レクタンギュラーブリッジ、Golden Age Relic Brass 3連ペグ仕様。
Made in USA
入荷後、クリーニング・弦交換・トラスロッド調整・フレットすり合わせ済み。
トラスロッドは左右60度まで確認済みにて問題なく、フレットもまで充分高さが残っています。
ヘッドエッジ部に打痕、細かな擦り傷はございますが、全体的にきれいな印象で、プレイアビリティも良好です！
さすがのレスポンス！特にフィンガーでの深みのあるサウンドが格別です！

An Excellent Small-Body Guitar!
IRIS Guitar Company was founded in 2018 by Adam Buchwald, a builder of high-end custom guitars, and Dale Fairbanks, a world-renowned authority on vintage Gibson guitars.
They craft vintage-inspired guitars using modern techniques while keeping costs as low as possible, offering high-end, MADE IN USA acoustic guitars that serve as the perfect tools for players.
The OG Series is IRIS’s flagship model, inspired by the vintage Gibson LG-2.
The design features a deeper tailblock than the LG, resulting in enhanced low-end response.
The small-body top is made of Sitka spruce, while the sides and back are mahogany.
The top bracing features scalloped tone braces, while the X-bracing is largely non-scalloped.
The mahogany neck (bolt-on joint with volute) features a 1-11/16” (just under 43 mm) nut width and a substantial 25” scale length, and is fitted with an Indian rosewood fingerboard.
Natural satin lacquer finish (matte), Indian rosewood rectangular bridge, and Golden Age Relic Brass triple-peg tuners.
Made in the USA
Upon arrival, the guitar was cleaned, the strings were replaced, the truss rod was adjusted, and the frets were leveled.
The truss rod has been tested up to 60 degrees to the left and right with no issues, and the frets still have ample height remaining.
Although there are some dents and minor scuffs along the headstock edge, the guitar looks clean overall and plays very well!
The response is truly impressive! The deep, rich sound produced by fingerstyle playing is especially exceptional!

Domestically the Ishibashi Music Corporation also handles a large amount of NEW inside of Japan. We have over 11 stores around Japan including Tokyo, Yokohama, Chiba, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka. Not all of the items you purchase from us are in our Shibuya store in Tokyo where we do all of our international communications from.
