マスタービルダーのAndy Powers氏が「初心者が諦めずに弾き続けられる理想のギター」として考案・開発されたAcademyシリーズ。胴厚が僅かに薄くややコンパクトになった印象のSHAPEで、ノンカッタウェイ仕様、TOPにソリッドシトカ・スプルースを、SIDE/BACKにレイヤード・メイプル、BODYにはアームレストを施し、ナット幅47.6mmのNECKも快適な演奏を手助けしてくれます。
ES-Bピックアップシステム搭載で、便利なチューナー機能を装備し、Volume/Toneコントロール可能なエレクトリック・ナイロン・エレガットギター、クリアで音量も充分。初心者向けに製作されたとはいえ、テイラーサウンドは健在です。
若干の使用感(スレや拭きスジ、ピッキング痕、等)は見られるものの程度良好です。
入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。

Taylor's Elegatt, Academy Series - Eco-conscious wood collaboration model with a music store. Evergreen Project LTD EG Academy 12e-N, made in 2020.
The Academy Series was conceived and developed by master builder Andy Powers as "the ideal guitar that keeps beginners playing without giving up."Featuring a slightly thinner body and a more compact SHAPE, this non-cutaway model boasts a solid Sitka spruce TOP, layered maple SIDE/BACK, and an armrest on the BODY. Its 47.6mm nut width NECK also contributes to comfortable playability.
Equipped with the ES-B pickup system, it includes a convenient tuner function and offers Volume/Tone control, making it an electric nylon-string guitar with clear sound and ample volume. While crafted for beginners, the signature Taylor sound remains intact.
Some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks, etc.) are visible, but the overall condition is good.
Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment). Fret height is sufficient for playing. Truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions, with confirmed operation up to ±60°.
Condition Grade: B+: Some minor imperfections present, but does not affect normal use.
