This is the Martin D28-AJ (Adjustable Rod model), arguably the most famous acoustic guitar in the world.

It features a Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood sides and back, a mahogany neck, a striped ebony fingerboard and bridge, and Rotomatic tuners bearing the Martin logo.

Its open, resonant sound—rich with the sparkling overtones characteristic of Martin guitars—has been cherished by countless artists and captured on numerous recordings. This model is renowned for its striking and lustrous tone.

Signs of use (such as discoloration, minor scratches and scuffs, wear marks, playing lines, picking marks, and tarnish on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage) are visible.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, fret leveling, bridge re-gluing, and binding re-adhesion x1). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod has only a slight amount of play remaining in the tightening direction (approximately 30 degrees), so there are no current issues.
Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
