USED Fender / Michiya Haruhata Stratocaster Maple Fingerboard Transparent Pink [4.24 kg / 2022]

This is the 2022 Fender Made in Japan Michiya Haruhata Model Stratocaster, a signature guitar by Michiya Haruhata—the first Japanese musician to sign an endorsement contract with Fender in 2002.

Featuring a flame maple top and ash back without a pickguard, a reverse-head maple neck, a 10R radius fingerboard with medium frets, and a pickup combination of DiMarzio Air Norton, Fred, and Fender Texas Special, this model faithfully replicates the original’s unique wiring configuration, including master volume, middle pickup volume, and master tone controls.Featuring a direct-mount HSH pickup layout and a double-locking tremolo, this model is geared toward a rock-oriented sound. The neck shape is meticulously crafted based on a 3D profile of the artist’s actual instrument.

Crafted in Japan under the technical guidance and supervision of Chris Fleming, a former Senior Master Builder at the Custom Shop, this Fender offers high quality and a wide range of sound variations.

The strap pins have been changed to Schaller-type (no strap hardware on the strap side). While there are some signs of use (fading, scuffs, wipe marks, tarnish and pitting on metal parts, etc.), the overall condition is good.

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been tested to operate within ±60° and is in good working order.
