HEADWAY, an acoustic guitar brand headquartered in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, presents the Headway Japan Tune-up Series HN-V080SE/AM—a New York-style model characterized by a 12th-fret joint and a compact body shape.

The JT Series is assembled overseas, where every instrument is inspected, set up, and shipped by a dedicated quality control department. It features a solid mahogany top, sapele sides and back, scalloped X-bracing, a slotted-head nato neck, an obankol fingerboard and bridge, and a Fishman Sonitone pickup, with the volume and tone controls located inside the soundhole.

Featuring a New York-style 12th-fret joint for easy playability, this guitar is characterized by its quick response and crisp tone, making it highly recommended for fingerstyle players.

Although there are some signs of use (minor scratches, scuffs, wear marks, wipe marks, and tarnish on metal parts, etc.), it is in good condition.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions; operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.
